Come and celebrate the last day of the festival! Bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon’s free entertainment in this lovely park.
Entertainments include: - 1.00pm: Crystal Palace Band. South London's Premier Brass Band.
- 2.00pm: Mayor Of Lewisham & Poetry by S.A.F. poet in residence, Gale Burns, and friends - reading their own work, including a newly created, festival poem.
- 2.30pm: Children’s Theatre: The Quarter Too Ensemble. An adventure into the woods with the inter-galactic super-hero storytellers Chicken-Head and Cow-Face! Put your tongue firmly in your cheek as they use their powers to tell, in their own unique way, the classic story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
- 3.00pm: Live music.
- 4.00pm: Salsa Line Dancing workshop – with William Dash.
- 4.45pm: Music: Randolph Mathews. “Future Folk”: a fusion of Neo/Afro Soul, Acoustic Folk and Blues. And “Heart Music”: fusing phonetic language, vocal percussion, sounds and instruments.
- 5.30pm: Lewisham Youth Choir - a medley of songs about London.
Art: We invite you and your children to make and bring along an art object, based around the theme ‘Summer Garden’, to join our ‘butterflies’ on display. A slug? A sunflower? Anything! You can make it out of recycled objects if you like. There will be opportunities throughout the day to create something at the Park as well.
