This summer Kirkdale Bookshop will be hosting its second Open Exhibition.

We will be inviting our customers to submit original artworks on the theme of SIGHTS AND SOUNDS. We chose the theme to tie in with the first ever Sydenham Arts Festival. The exhibition will have its grand opening on Saturday 4th July, with a ‘beach-themed’ party on the pavement, and will run until 30th August.

Artworks can be in any medium, and there is no size-limit (bearing in mind that our gallery is very small!) It’s likely that we will have more pictures than we will have room to display, so there will be a selection process. Hopefully, if we are inundated with entries we can find room to show any ‘overflow’.
